There's no reason to change oil any more frequently than every 5,000 miles unless you're driving in severe conditions. I'm at 37,000 miles with my 2010 LGT, and I got my first 2 oil changes for free...

Yeah I got the $700 quote from dealer. $300 from glass place my family has used before. So it doesn't sound like most people purposely sought out an oem replacement so guess it isn't a big deal.
