  1. My car is already pretty dinged up; it wouldn't really be worth it to me, so I'll have to say no.
  2. Geez, I've really been out of the loop around here...I've never even heard of that color!
  3. Umm, isn't Kimmi a redhead? In fact, I believe "crazy redhead" was how she once described herself. Then again it's possible she's blonde now and I couldn't tell in the Major's lighting. I still think that was Kimmi's much younger sister that showed up to Major's.
  4. Yeah, it was good to see & talk to all you guys! Bikerboy, nice to meet you! Thanks for remembering me and keeping me in the loop despite my truancy around here lately.
  5. Minnetonka Blvd. & Williston Thursday 1-4-06, 9:15am White LGT sedan w/wing, debadged Anyone here, or anyone know the guy?
  6. Oddly enough, I was in that same parking lot today @ around 8:30 pm in my wife's Outback.
  7. Brady was there, for a total of five. Mr. T went way out of his way to stop by, which was very nice of him. I'm not sure what happened to our favorite almost-40 mom. Yamie's car made me once again second-guess my decision to go with ABP instead of RBP. In pictures, Mr. T's exterior paint always looks a little nicer than mine, even though they are ostensibly the same. I guess that goes to show it's never to early to start taking care of your exterior.
  8. Yamie's car is currently my favorite, looks-wise, of any of the local LGT's I've seen so far. I'm sure Brady will give him a run for his money, though. I'm afraid not. I'd take some now, but my wife's out of town and she took the digital camera with her. They are almost brand new, and they look pretty much the same as the stock USDM springs (i.e. black), but they are a little stiffer. Ride height is about the same. For you, or anyone local, I'll let them go for $100. These are the front and rear springs from the JDM Legacy GT Bilstein suspension. I got the Bilstein struts from rclark0032 with STi pinks already installed, and he threw in the stock JDM springs. He put the pinks on the Bilstein struts right away, so he never even drove on these JDM springs. OK, sorry for the http://images.corvetteforum.com/images/smilies/spam.gif; now back to your regularly-scheduled meet thread.
  9. This seems like a good time to repost the following:
  10. Regardless of what we decide for this weekend, I nominate Mr. T to organize a future meet in Red Wing or thereabouts, so that we can actually go for a group drive.
  11. Sorry guys, been out of town. I'm planning on going to the BW3 in Woodbury or wherever, as per the original plan. Do we have a time picked? Although most of us seem to be in the western metro, I don't mind moving these around, to keep more people involved.
  12. Well then, how do you explain Michael's highly risky dive in front of Rubens on the last lap at Monaco last year? It made sense to bring the cars home safely then, too. The difference is that the "bring the car home safely" policy only applied when Michael was in front. Bull****. See above. Would Ferrari have ordered Michael to "bring home the car safely" if Rubens had been in front after the last pit stops? I think not. Rubens was no more free to race Michael than Massa was at this year's USGP (not that I think Massa is in Michael's class; I'm sure Michael could have gotten by Massa on merit, but we never got a chance to find out). On topic: Another spot -- GRP LGT sedan with spoiler, spotted Saturday on display on the grounds of the SIA plant on I-65 near Lafayette, IN.
  13. I might have spotted that car too: ABP LGT wagon in the Coke parking lot just northwest of the Speedway, right after the race. F1, I find it funny that you want to give MS credit for the 2004 race, but then you also give him credit for the 2005 farce, even when Barrichello was told not to race MS after the last pit stops. It helps to rack up wins when not only do you have the best car, but the only other guy with that car is contractually bound to let you win.
