  1. That was at the Clean Air place in Parker. Here's a quote from their web page: "Vehicles 8 through 11 years old will be inspected using onboard diagnostics (OBD)." So at this point, a 2005 or 2006 (in your case) will most likely be put on the dyno/sniffer.
  2. I am not familiar with legacy specifics, but don't most alignment shops adjust the tierods on both sides to even out the steering wheel in this situation?
  3. My was the Railtek comfort bushing too. Not sure why it gave me so much more NVH. Yes, I do have other stiffer bushings...whiteline trans craddle bushings, the rear diff inserts/bushing, whiteline steering rack, sways, AVO rear sway bracket, kartboy solid endlinks...maybe all these together had an effect. Regardless, after swiss cheesing the Railtek bushing, everything seems happier.
  4. I agree, I experienced the same thing, and it was unbearable for me especially in the winter. So, I pulled the whole trans mount from the car and drilled the blue bushing all over the place without drilling the black mount. I drilled straight holes, holes angled side ways. Whatever I could drill to make it softer, worked awesome! No more NVH, but still with the benefit of improved/connected feeling shifts.
  5. My V2 blanks out during big pulls some times too which is very annoying if I trying to log or monitor the gauges. I'm definitely interested in a solution.
  6. You do realize the Railtech trans mount busing is not a new transmission mount, right? It is a bushing that you insert into your existing OEM trans mount. FYI, I have the blue softer version as well. It did stiffen up shifts and seems to have removed play in the drivetrain. But, it most definitely increase noise and vibrations, especially when cold out. To the point that I was tired of it, so I drilled a bunch of holes in the blue plastic to soften it up. Now, I am happier with it.
  7. I have nothing but great praise for Dave at cryotune. Thanks for the 91 revisions! especially since I asked last minute before your vacation. After I replaced my front O2 sensor, I was getting some high AFR readings. Dave was very prompt with my e85 updates. And now once again very prompt with a revised 91oct map once I went back to my gas map. Awesome tuner! Thanks.
  8. I just had my 05 LGT stage3 E85 thru emissions last week. No more smog test on the Dyno. Visual and an OBDII read for fault codes. Easy breezy now!
  9. could you machine down the inside end of the outer tie rod so it sits in further, closer to the rack?
  10. For comparison sakes, what do new LGT steering racks sell for?
  11. What can I say! You should have bought a 5EAT, lol Sorry man, that sucks.
  12. Nothing but positive things to say about Dave and his tuning abilities. I had him road tune my 05 wagon yesterday. He also installed my new DW850s. Stage 3, BNR16g, AVO TMIC, etc. Can't wait for the E85 tune in the next few weeks. Thanks again.
  13. My understanding is that you are supposed to use Subaru ATF fluid in the Power Steering. That fluid is red, not clear.
  14. Who did the prior tune? If you don't want to say publicly, can you please PM me? I would like to know for comparison's sake.
  15. I heard the best thing to do is to drive by the mobile emission trucks.... I also heard that if your car is on the borderline of pass/fail, you are more apt to pass via mobile trucks...Not to mention your car doesn't get beat on by those d-bags on the dyno...and no visual inspections! http://www.aircarecolorado.com/locations-and-maps/truck-locations/
