  1. It's actually a front plate delete, that's my lil' touch of RICE! I love it! Nobody else has it and thats the way I like it. It's all about catching your eye, wether you like it or not. It's that little added touch that screams out "Look at me".
  2. I can't believe there hasn't been a post on here since Sept '12, I guess I'm in the minority......I LIKE IT! This Legacy was my wifes subie, but after she fell in love with my car, she had to have it. So I took her car and well, this is now my second subie and I had to mod it a tiny bit....I got the better end of the deal for sure. Oh yeah, BTW Women LOVE this color. I've gotten so many compliments from women about the color and the car. If I weren't married, this would be just as good as having a pretty puppy. Perfect ice breaker. http://i538.photobucket.com/albums/ff344/djjesusv/subie3_zps4952c439.jpg http://i538.photobucket.com/albums/ff344/djjesusv/subie4_zpsaee1c8d7.jpg
  3. Just get a short screwdriver and manually turn it (it may hurt your wrist after about the 10th screw, but worth it ). There's really no need to use a drill. The screws will go right in with a little pressure.
  4. Why do you have to take off the bumper? If it's a matter of space under the car, you could always lift the car on some lifts. I think it would be easier to lift the car and leave the front bumper on. It'll provide a much steadier platform to screw the screws in and to mold the lip around the bumper. Just my 2 cents.
  5. I say GO FOR IT! If you don't like it, take it off and then paint it.
  6. Looks great! Happy to inspire I get tons of stares when I'm driving (in a good way). I can see people trying to figure out what kind of car it is. Don't you just love those cheap and effective mods? It's amazing how a small thing like that can change the flow of the car. And the best part is that if you get tired of it, you can take it off with ease.
  7. Thanks Worth, yeah that snow picture was taken a while back. Just a few tips, if you're putting on the lip by yourself, be sure to stuff some pillows or Styrofoam on one end to hold up the lip while you add your first screws. Use a short screwdriver if you're not going to lift the car. And lastly if it's cold, use a hair dryer to soften up the lip. BTW the screws cut right into the bottom of the front bumper with ease, just add a little pressure and the screws will go right in. Good luck with the install.
  8. Got the V-limited front lip this past weekend and install was a breeze. I didn't have any trouble contouring the lip around the bumper. I started by attaching the ends, then the middle, and then flip flopped between left and right. I also added some 3M di-noc carbon fiber vinyl to the middle grill insert and then came up with an idea to add some vinyl to the bottom of the front bumper to balance it out. 9. I just picked up a refurb Myron and Davis for $250 shipped from Makeadealez on ebay, the same guy that's selling them for $329. I think it's a great price, given the fact that they used to cost $1500 and will give you the stock look. You can't even buy a decent aftermarket Navigation HU for that price, you'd have to pay twice that amount and you'd still have to buy a bezel and steering wheel module. I called Myron and Davis and they support and warrant their units, which is a great deal in my book. Sure, these units won't give you flashy graphics or some other cool features, but it will give you the basics and then some. As long as it plays music, has bluetooth, plays music over bluetooth, has navigation, maintains steering wheel controls, and is plug and play, I'll be happy. I prefer the Myron and Davis (stock replica) for three reasons. 1. Stock/look navigation adds about 500-600 to the value of the car. 2. Leaves the stock look in tact. 3. Deters most thieves from stealing a radio that is not compatible with other cars. Though, with an aftermarket, when you sell your car, you can take it out and replace the stock radio, so I guess reason 3, could be a wash. I'l receive the unit next week and will report back.
