I'm doing something similar but leaving my LGT for an Outback. I would get a 6MT but I don't think I could live without a moonroof and limited interior. So I'm probably going to get a CVT. It's hard...

I had a moar low 2nd gen CL-S that I loved before my Legacy. J32A2 with Comptech headers and Greddy EVO2 exhaust among other things. Plenty fast and sounded awesome.

With any reinforced silicone inlet (which most are) collapse shouldn't be an issue. At least below 500WHP. A lot of people are running them with no problems of that sort.

That inlet isn't going to collapse or rip. It's just a bitch to install because it doesn't have the jog bend on the turbo end.
