1. 15+ wrx trans is in and all seems very good. Collecting a few more bits and will be transplanting this fall. Definitely excited to get her up and running again. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
2. One of many reasons im reviving my leggy. Transmission will be arriving tomorrow. But wont get to wrenching until it cools down at least. In the meantime I will collect/order parts.
3. Sounds good Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
4. Did any of you feel that the verus fork and pivot ball be overkill along with tsk snout? I'm only considering to get them all just because I had my fork give up on my when i had southbend stage 3 daily clutch and wouldn't want to take it apart just for broken fork or damaged snout Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
5. That's just it...hondas are all around lol. Besides if I did to a tsx swap on my 07 accord sedan it would be different. It's cheaper and easy to maintain. I like surprising other drivers. Might even do it when leggy is back together. Gotta love the rarity of the leggy though. I think that's what makes me want to get it up and running. Too many WRXs and STIs here by me. Keeping the legacy alive would be sweet Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
6. I'll take a whack at it. Miss driving her and see jaws drop when EWG goes off Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
7. ^oh no rhino^ hopefully it goes smooth and sliding it will be easy enough to install new flywheel. Well, I just went ahead and purchased a 15+ wrx transmission just now. :eek:Hopefully all goes well. After getting a new battery and turning her over, I realized how much I miss this car, and plan on giving it all the love necessary to daily it again. It was either TSX/K swap my honda accord or give love to the leggy. The leggy deserves a new life lol
8. or get lucky and find a Gimmick Motorsports catback https://www.drivenbystyle.com/2005-2008-subaru-legacy-2-5l-gt-only-stainless-steel-catback-exhaust-system-37368.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjd_zqLOh9wIVkz-tBh1KBAWJEAQYASABEgLbf_D_BwE
9. you can ask this guy? he states no drone on highway
10. I had an 09 Legacy SE that was a lemon...coworkers mom was working at SOA and I was able to find a really low mileage 08 LGT in 2009 and has 145k miles. Does that count? lol
11. and here im thinkin 1700 on ebay is a steal. I need to get on Facebook Marketplace so I can source one local for cheap. Glad I didnt accept offer. Whew...
12. also need the average american weight increase graph im guilty. The 19 in covid is the 19lbs gained since all drive thrus are in their golden era as the little mom and pop shops shut down
13. My guess is under 400 is safe? I looked up a few nasioc threads already. I'm going to pull the trigger on one of these trans any day now myself. Seems good enough to have some more fun in the leggy. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
