Thanks! I came across that tailgate wiring thread in the past, so I checked those wires when I took the pics above. I was relieved to find them still intact on both sides.

I have the service manual.
I know you're saying that because you don't want me shooting myself in the foot, as it were.
Taking things apart and putting them back together is how I've learned...

New Turbo Hose

Probably not your issue here, but I would consider replacing the coolant hose for your turbo. Mine wasn't noticeably leaking coolant, but it was sucking in air slowly. That resulted in coolant...

Jumper Cable Quick Connect

I am almost surprised by how often I find myself giving others a jump-start. Recent example: I was helping my brother replace the head gasket in his 240SX, after which it needed a jump. I drained...

Break Rotors and Such

I've been busy the last week. I've checked a few things off of my list. I've replaced my horribly-warped OE break rotors. While I had the wheels off, I noticed how bad my LCA bushings are.

I...

Connectors, Above PR Wheel, What Are They?

I've been pulling apart my Outback XT out of curiosity. I noticed some connectors above the rear-passenger wheel arch. The connector is similar to the green test connector under the dash, but one...

Yup, all stock. I have a foam air filter so I don't have to keep buying new filters, but that's it. I don't know if the MAF sensor was scaled. I'll have to check that out when I've got more time....

Thanks!

I'm going to flash the stock map (with the timing compensation per cylinder still modified to 1.05 in #2 and #4) for a little while and see how it compares. I think that will give me a...

I'm thinking intake leak for starters.

After seeing my learning view, I suspect I may have an intake leak.

When I got knock while logging on lunch break today, it seemed to be mostly while in vacuum, and at low engine speed. ...

MN Tint Laws

MN tints laws are the worst, I think. 50% all around for standard passenger vehicles- and no front/visor tint. I imagine that as long as it looked factory, one wouldn't get pulled over. I'm...

I hadn't come across that thread before. I won't post it though, because I see someone already showed that switch location. No need for redundancy, I suppose.

You would currently have three CCs: one in the up-pipe, and two in the down-pipe. 2007+ LGTs only have the two in the down-pipe (though the newer cats may be more efficient).
