I think you guys are forgetting that there is, most of the time, a 3rd brake light in the rear window. Unless you completely black out your lights, drivers behind you should be able to see the brake...

I would only go with a light charcoal color. I don't even like the look of straight up black tail lights. And as far as being reversible, thats what is kinda selling me on the whole vinyl deal lol
