so the svx lives now and runs great. the fuel pump was shit but i bypassed it with a pressurized canister set up and it fire right up. yay for that. so on with the build.

Remote turbo systems work...ok... on large displacement motors. Which means 5+ liter V8's. Truck owners like them because there's so much space at the rear to tuck the turbo away without worrying...

This is why you need to figure out compressor maps. They will answer this question. You can have both, but not with the turbo mounted where you want it.

Its OK for a 2 liter... barely ok for a 2.5 liter... but for a 3.3 liter? It will get completely choked.

Dude should look at a GT30 or GT35 if you want an off the shelf solid turbo with good...
