  1. How many engine rebuilds in those 300K miles?
  2. Interesting. If that theory holds true, you would think that the stock 350hp cars, i.e. BMW M's, Audi S's, etc, would roll of the assembly line with 3" exhaust.....maybe they already do? (I'm not a BMW or Audi guy), so I don't know. I haven't heard that theory before, but it kinda makes sense.
  3. The Nameless deletes are insanely loud while highway driving. You have to remember, the Outback is essentially one giant bass tube. I started out with the deletes....my neighbors hated me, and my wife refused to ride in the car. Then I went to the 5" muffs, and they were amazing. Nice smooth sound from the EZ30. Then I went too far, and got the car ready for a supercharger, and put on Raptor headers, with a full custom header back exhaust with high flow cats. The rasp was so unbearable, that it shook the headliner......so I switched over to a set of AVO mufflers. Deep tone, but anything over 20mph was like death. Finally, I threw on a set of new OEM muffs, and welded in a Vibrant ultra quiet resonator. Nice and quiet, with a little blurble if I get on it. If I could do it all over again, I'd go with the Nameless 5", and do some major sound deadening. A nice set of OEM STI quads would look great, but that would require a lot of work making them fit. @imprezkid did it, and it looks great, but alot of work.
  4. Did you consider a lower offset, for a more flush look? With a +45, you should have very little rub, if any. Right?
  5. I have a Subaru to work on, because I have a wife, and 2 teenage daughters. There's only so much a grown man can take before he finds new reasons to hang out in the garage, and "work" on the car.
  6. Keep the 6MT, buy a Raptor supercharger kit, and run E-85 if available. You'll get the same power #'s as a turbo, but with a lot less headaches.
  7. How much work went into getting them to fit?
  8. I'm available almost anytime. I think I spotted you on University in Fridley, a while back. I was headed in the opposite direction, towards 694.
  9. I too have heard that the Tein H-Tech's are extremely harsh. I can tell you that Konis w/ H&R "sport" springs aren't very "sporty". Cranked to full soft, its a fairly harsh ride on the surface streets. So much so, that wifey doesn't like riding in the car for more than she absolutely needs to. On the highway, they're amazing though. I just chalk it up to the fact that I'm driving a lowered car that was never intended to be lowered. Salt on the MN roads doesn't help either!
  10. @manik1770, what are you lowered on, and what are your tire & wheel specs? I'm sure I could probably dig through this site, and find it, but i'm lazy. I absolutely love your wagon!
  11. Interesting. I'm lower than stock Legacy height, so we'll see how it looks. I lucked out, and got these off a guy that bought a new Crosstrek, and upgraded to the STI wheels, so they we're only on the vehicle for a few test drives. I kinda feel bad putting them on for winter, given the excellent condition they're in. I'll post pics of the silver snow plow in a couple days!
  12. FWIW, I think they make the wagon look great. I'm putting the same Crosstrek wheels on mine tomorrow.
