  1. From my knowledge these are just hub/bearing assemblies. Why are you trying to just change bearings? You originally stated that you couldnt get the hub off.... I'd have used that first, then when broken free that way, I would have used a mini sludge on the back side of the hub and beat it on both sides to go back and forth till it broke free from the knuckle. (is what I did.)
  2. I attempted to do it the same way with a hammer and all. Then realize I lived in a salt filled area and nothing comes off without a certain tool for it. Not sure if you guys tried this at all but this is actually what you should have used. http://www.oem-tools.com/upload/products_images/27037.jpg It scared me since it went pretty far into the axle, but finally broke it free. The new one slid on extremely easy.
  3. Has anyone used the autozone brand duralast? Any issues with them?
  4. I'd love to buy a new full suspension bike but definitely dont have the $1500 minimum to get a new one. I say that price for a decent product. I know I can find stuff used for probably $800 but I have too many hobbies with 2 cars and needing to save for a damn house. lol Recently my money has been going towards gas and white water kayaking. That has been a blast.
  5. So no mountains in Ellicottville, NY but we still have hills. This is just a quick edit of the 2 mile downhill we have. Cross X trail so everything going down you had to go up as well. This was the last of our ride so we were pretty beat up and tired. Still a fun time blasting down the run with a hard tail.
  6. Please help my area out!!!! We are the ones at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville, NY Please vote, it would really be appreciated and may give us reason for a chair lift access to the top. I'd love for that. http://www.bellhelmets.com/bellbuilt/#email-form
  7. Not the best quality video but we will be making a new one this year. I have a new gopro so I'd like to get a better quality to show the trails better. This is our 2 mile downhill we enjoy at the end of our cross country riding. We usually start on this hill to get to the top and ride all around back in the state forest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kX4tb51kAd0&list=UU-0f09ElbDOtmETxWFv2rYg
  8. We haven't had any issues riding back in this area. It actually dries out pretty quickly here too. I however cant stand ticks and wouldn't be happy with them being on trails. We stay away from one park because of that.
  9. My Frankenstein bike. Kind of wish it was a full suspension but it's working for the cross country riding I do in Ellicottville, NY http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e96/boarding087/559236_10152018198195051_168639641_n_zps0e8e12ea.jpg http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e96/boarding087/183723_10152040523045051_4609080_n_zps048d947d.jpg
  10. Where are you based out of? Sounds like people come from all over to get innovative work done. I had them fix my blown turbo and do the timing.
  11. oh no shit..... where was this located. I'm around the Buffalo/Batavia area.
  12. what is that on the fenders? Please tell me not fake fender vents.
  13. Not mine but didnt know a fellow Buffalonian was on this thread. I'm in the Akron, NY area. I out that way and in Cheektowaga on a regular.
