My '05 is also missing that latch. I see the part# listed for the whole cover, but can't find the latch by itself. Interested to see if anyone has found a replacement.

I didn't like the thought of re sealing the boot after grease leaked on mine. I couldn't be certain that water, salt and dirt didn't make its way into the boot. So I ended up getting a Beck Arnley...

When removing a sticker from the driver's door glass, I didn't realize the heat gun was melting the s#!t out of the top of the door panel. It's just cosmetic, but damn!

My 2005 GT sounds like that. I thought it was normal for these?? Roots style blower is a good description of the sound. I really don't think it's related to the turbo. Sounds more like gears whining.

Thanks to the OP and everyone else who contributed to this walkthrough. Replaced mine yesterday. The drivers side rear plug took longer than the other three combined. I just couldn't get the boot...
