  1. Spotted this one for sale: https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/d/2008-subaru-legacy-25-gt-spec/6499973461.html
  2. Having virtually no interior lights over the driver/pass seats was my biggest issue when I got my car. The first mod I did was to wire up the map lights to come on with the interior lights.
  3. What is the photo supposed to be showing? Not doubting the OP, I just don't see the crack or where it would be leaking.
  4. Spotted #205 for sale on CL. Car is in Breinigsville, Pa with 81K. Looks clean.
  5. Car started showing signs of a failing MC so I decided I might as well upgrade. Parts ordered, but probably won't get around to doing the swap till July.
  6. Charged Philadelphia, PA 2005 LGT LMT 5MT sedan Garnet Red Pearl
  7. I bought and used the cam tool. It worked fine. The only tip I would give is when putting on the new belt I had to loosen the cam tool at the very end so that I could get that last 1mm of stretch to pull it over the final pulley.
  8. I wouldn't bolt it up without them. The tensioner just needs the ability to rotate a little. It's not like they are special washers, you can go to Lowes or HD and get a pair for like $0.25.
  9. I just did it the other day. No pics, but it's simple. Find the power steering pump. Directly on top is a hose with a 90deg composite fitting. One bolt is holding it down. Undo the bolt and pull the fitting straight up. Some fluid will come out, but just quickly just raise the hose up above the reservoir and seal it with your thumb. Sometimes the O-ring will be on the fitting or you may have to fish it out of the pump. Replace O-ring, re-install fitting, and top off fluid if necessary. If you're going to go that far you might consider flushing the power steering system. There is a post in the Walkthrough section detailing how to do it. It's not that much harder. Part# 34439FG000 was ~$2 at the dealer.
  10. I was watching the Meaty video and he mentions that he doesn't like the Gates t-belt. Is that a common opinion? If so, what's everybody using as a good replacement belt?
  11. I just read all 19 pages and I'm baffled too. It's not that hard to set the clock and re-input the radio presets...
