  1. That one is specifically for old people who are new to driving... it tells people to stay very clear. The red/yellow represents a leaf about to fall and the green is a new/young leaf. There are separate ones for just old folk (red/yellow) and new drivers (green) or this one where they're mixed together. As far as I know it's voluntary to put them on your car but it's possible they give you one when you get to a certain age.
  2. Yeah I'm sure it would get pretty hot in the sun
  3. From 2003 they were called Outbacks, before that they were called Legacy Lancasters.
  4. Goo says this is an 04 Outback... http://www.goo-net.com/carphoto/10452012_200404.jpg http://www.goo-net.com/carphoto/10452012_200404bk.jpg

  6. From inside the car... but I cut the high frequencies off because there were coins sliding around in the centre console... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5HCPOxRDZA&feature=feedu]Subaru Legacy BG5 GT-B Yabitsu Pass 02 - YouTube[/ame]
  7. I've read through the first 10 pages, subscribing so I can get to read the rest when I have time. Congrats on the build.
  8. Second Gen GT-B stock with Apexi N1 (Bomber III) axle back. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3uroJAOJao]YouTube - ‪Apex'i N1 Bomber 3 vs Stock muffler JDM Legacy GT-B BG5‬‏[/ame]
  9. Yep. Over $200/mo for parking (and that's cheap, usually $3-500 for Tokyo area). About $6/gallon for fuel. Highway about .35c/kilometre (.60c/mile).
  10. True, but I'm poor. I settled on a Legacy because most of the older sports cars that are reasonably priced have questionable history, mods etc. I wanted something fun, practical, clean and original and the Legacy seemed the best bet.
  11. This is my first post, just bought a 96 Legacy GT-B with 53,000km's, that's 33,000miles. It's in pretty good nick. Haven't taken delivery yet, still sorting out the paperwork, parking etc so will post an intro thread when I get it and can take pics. Yeah, people don't drive much in Japan. I was a bit worried about getting an "older" car but this thread has helped. lol.
