  1. Try Griot's Interior Cleaner. It works like a charm & congratulations on your car.
  2. Wait is the funnest part of the whole deal. Time will fly by & congratulations on your new car.
  3. If it is LED Fog, it will in deed be a one piece unit. You can not swap the "bulbs" out in those units as the whole thing is just one piece. On that note, I can't believe no one has taken delivery of a Legacy on this forum yet.
  4. What was wrong with the 6th gen TPMS? Not sure what improvements you are looking for?
  5. I agree with jMeG. A properly maintained polished / waxed paint will stay shinny for a long time. There is also nothing worse than putting a cover on a dirty car (I doubt your are going to dust off the cover and wipe the paint everyday) I would go get it detailed and ceramic coated and call it a day vs dealing with a cover and creating more damage. For interior, get the windows tinted and use a proper sunshade.
  6. Impressive. They finally added tilting side mirror after all of these years. $40K gets you a pretty nice legacy.
  7. If you search the threads, we started started a listing of all JDM parts back in the day. I am sure the thread is still floating around somewhere.
  8. Fit and finish on my 2015 (which was also 1st year and early build) was just fine. We all went through cracking windshields and gas doors getting stuck issues. Besides that, car was solid.
  9. Electric cars are around the corner and you guys are all talking about Manual transmission, LOL. Not going to happen, period. Now if these were some high-end exclusive cars like, say Porsche 911 GT3, then bring the manual campaign would work, just as it did with the GT3. Even if there was to be a manual Legacy, then people would b-itch about it not being a wagon, then not naturally aspired blah blah blah. There is always an excuse when it comes to justifying not buying a car. Folks should be glad that there are still some cars in Subaru's line up that are manuals. Go buy those while you can.
  10. +1, mine did not even make it out of the dealership by the time I turned it off on my BMW. Useless technology for most of the time. It might be bit environmentally friendly if your commute includes long traffic lights.
  11. It doesn't look that bad and the interior improvements are nice and welcomed. 260hp as well as the torque is a little bit disappointing but lets be realistic. Most folks, tree hugers, moms & etc who buy these cars as basic transportation and will be impressed by it. I will need more technical info as well as pricing to see if I want one. Otherwise back to new upcoming BMW 340 X-drive or another 5 series.
  12. To me, it looks like a Tesla interior. Looking fw to full release and specs. The lease is up on my BMW 535 in July and I would not mind coming back to Legacy once again.
  13. I live in a cave called land of Amazon, Starbucks, Microsoft, Costco and that one company that makes airplanes. You are lucky if you see any domestic cars around here. Our police cars are mostly Explorers but I am sure there are some Tauruses in there too. I just have not seen anyone actually owning one. And now that I looked up what they look like, I had one as a rental couple of years ago. Good to see that they are still around especially the SHO. I had a brand new one in 1996 and loved it.
  14. Op's question is valid and I am definitely one of those who would look at how fast the car is and that is without getting into too many details. Is it a 4 sec car or a 7 sec car like the Legacy.... Usually, mostly out of curiosity. PS: I had no idea Ford still made the Taurus yet alone the SHO, LoL, good times.
