I like the Duralast Golds too - nothing wrong with them! If I remember correctly, they have a nice rubbery shim on the back that really makes them feel like a high quality pad.

GT catbacks don't bolt on to an 05, the cat is about 4" shorter. You need some cheap and simple exhaust shop magic (a small extension welded up) to get a catback to fit.

Do that first, then bleed the brakes, keeping the reservoir topped up with fresh fluid the whole time. Otherwise, it'll just sit up top and take years to eventually mix with the fluid in the lines.

Drive the car, steer the car hard left and right. When the weight of the car is transferred to the bad bearing, it will usually make more noise.
