Best thing to do is put it on jacks and let the car run until you start seeing the leaks. It could also be a water pump gasket leak or thermo leak, the only way to tell is to sit there and watch it.

True, there might not be any huge difference between the 2 filters (OEM vs. Foam), but a least the foam is reusable and will cost less in the long run.
