  1. I just placed an order for a 2017 LPB WRX so I've been browsing this thread to make sure I made the right decision. Any pictures of one next to a RBP (4th gen navy blue color). I wanna know if my cars will even be close to matching. I think the Lapis Blue is a bit lighter.
  2. To be honest, I don't have any experience with Cardone other than the axles. That being said, I'm 2 for 2 in successful axle replacements using Cardone parts. As I mentioned before, when you buy the $180 OEM remanufactured axle, you're buying an axle that was reman'd my Cardone: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/0s0AAOSwECZUoXk2/$_12.JPG http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/DqEAAOSwkNZUoXk5/$_12.JPG
  3. Consider splurging a full $3 more than EMPI and getting an A1 Cardone reman axle. A1 Cardone is the company that remanufactures axles for Subaru, from what I read. You can buy them from AutoZone (http://www.autozone.com/drivetrain/cv-axle/duralast-reman-cv-axle/subaru/legacy-awd/2005/4-cylinders-6-2-5l-sfi-sohc/26123_706373_0_78656/) and they come with a lifetime warranty).
  4. Question about the Tribeca sway bar -- specifically the adjustable endlinks: which brand endlinks are those and what size? I'm thinking about switching to the Tribeca bar but unsure of what end links will work. Thanks. I love your Legacy by the way. Probably one of my top 5 of all time.
  5. Nice! I've been putting off hardwiring my dash cam for almost a year but I may go ahead and do it. FYI, I have an OjoCam Pro Mini 0801 that I've been using since last April and I actually really like it. The price on Newegg is up to $120 but I paid significantly less than that (I don't remember the exact price). Beware, though, that a lot of eBay sellers are selling counterfeit versions of these. The video is pretty good and includes all the standard dash cam goodies (1080p recording, audio recording optional, G sensor [so if you get into an accident it automatically flags and locks the video event so it can't be recorded over], GPS [the user interface for playback maps your rides along with your mph at the time], parking mode, etc. The newest version of that cam is the 0806 model and has increased video quality (1296P vs 1080P), lane departure warning, front collision warning, etc. I may buy that and sell my 0801 for cheap. Here's video from my 0801. Make sure you choose 1080p. Pardon the music. It was from their free selection.
  6. You mean the white connector thingy? It's on a little metal mounting bracket that's held on by the same 10mm bold that holds the inlet elbow. Take off the 10mm bolt and you can lift off the sensor and then lift off the inlet elbow.
  7. I really dislike this generation of Outback, but yours is making me reconsider. That thing is pretty bad ass.
  8. I should be at about 197k but I haven't checked in a few weeks. Only replaced the short block (no biggie, right?) about a month ago. All else is original.
  9. Nice! What kind of wood did you use? I have to fully reside my house soon and the prices of Redwood and Cedar are kind of scary (given what I paid for the house and the neighborhood).
  10. Do you have pics of your seats and how much would you want for them (I can't trade as I don't have leather).
