Yeah i guess i dont have much of a reason to break 300 but i also dont want to push the vf-40 to its max which is 19-20 psi and about 290 tq if im not mistaken?

Yup because you still have those big ass stock mufflers. Aftermarket catback will give you a lot of sound though. Plus with UPs and DPs, you HAVE to have a tune.
