The Magnaflow had everything I needed, and aside from having to do a little wiggling to keep the axleback section from hitting the swaybar, it fits just fine, even after the two midpipe modifications...

Pull the downpipe and look inside the turbine housing to see if you've got any evidence of oil leakage in there. Not uncommon for thrust bearings to take a shit in these cars.

If it wasn't for a change in fiscal priorities, I'd still be driving the STi. It's an incredibly practical car (as long as you don't put rear-facing car seats in the back) and serves perfectly fine...
