I have installed grease fittings in the RSB...

I have installed grease fittings in the RSB bushings to be able to grease them. This prevents the noise for a few months. Do it every service and you should be fine.

There is no way that this is an issue with install. The system is designed to only bolt in one way. The projector is sitting too high in the mount. You can remove all the spacers and grind things...

Consider swapping out to a different projector setup. I went with the Hella MicroDE on my 08 legacy. Fairly simple install. Much better output than the stock halogen pancake that comes from factory....
