  1. I seem to recall the TGV's to Heads are a metal gasket with orange rubber ? Picture from April 2012.
  2. With it being so new, wouldn't it be easier to remove the long bolts holding the TGV's to the heads, that will allow you to get some good lift on the intake.
  3. Thanks, I tried to keep it looking fairly good. It's been gone for a while now. I did briefly PM the latest owner, but that was a while ago.
  4. Checking to see if the OP got this fixed ?
  5. The other day, one of my sisters sent me this photo, notice the date in the lower right corner. Bought it June 28 2004.
  6. Success, Great to hear. To help you not feel so bad, I found this issue after having to remove the used rear diff I just installed, because the PO had over tighten the fill plug and I could not get the plug out to fill the diff. Had to remove the diff and replace the cover
  7. Sorry to be late to the game. But as you learned, do what the factory does. Make sure you have fuel and start the engine. Back in May 2012, after reading about all the guy's trying to prime the oil system. I just did what the factory does. That engine had over 154,000 trouble free miles on it when I sold it.
  8. The sign that the fork fell off the ball is, the shaft from the slave cylinder is normally horizontal, NOT a downward angle. Been there, done that.
  9. Don't feel bad about the inspection cover, I left mine off back in May 2012. Never did put it on. I'm on the lap top right now (sitting on the deck enjoying this beautiful day) and don't have pictures, but I think in the photos when I replaced the oil pan back a few years, you could see it was missing. Also, most hardware stores have brass NPT fittings and barbed nipples. During lunch I found the picture.
  10. Sorry to be late to the game. Years ago I just put a bead of silicone around the seam in the right tail light. I took it off on a warm sunny day. Let the l housing bake in the hot sun so it really dried out. Then just ran a bead around the seam. Let it cure and put it back on the wagon. That worked for me.
  11. No problem, I understand about having to read all the pages... Also for us in the US, The Parker Store is where I go to find fittings, most area's have one. Any place that has Heavy Equipment will know where to get fittings and hoses too, as well as most hardware stores. It's just that a lot of people have no idea what is out there. At work, I had spent ten of thousands of $'s on fittings and hoses. Sorry to ramble, but I was once introduced to one of our new Dept Heads, when he heard my name, the first thing out of his mouth was, "oh, your the one that spends all the money". LOL
  12. Here the photos with the weathertech mudflaps.
  13. Yeah, it has a nice ride too. Smooth and quiet. We ended the lease of the 23 Nissan Rogue. I'll put the Weathertech mud flaps on in a while, we have the WT floor liners too, as does the 18' 3.6.
  14. Got her home today for the first time.
