And well, I have no idea if they're compatible. But, I've driven a friends 93 SS (I was supposed to buy it last year) several times and the steering is impeccable.

I think the second gen GT and first gen SS racks already have the best feel you can possibly ask for. Nice heavy weight and great feedback.
