  1. Yup, pretty much all Subarus are like this. Like I said above there are aftermarket solutions if it really bothers you that much, but....its a Subaru thing.
  2. Its an inherent Subaru trait. Several companies offer solutions called Saggy Butt Spacers and Strut Spacers to remedy it. Im not sure if any make a set for the Legacy, but I have seen sets for the Ascent, Crosstek and WRX/STI.
  3. 100-150 miles I believe. You can check the readiness level with most generic obd2 scan tools
  4. The Quatrac Pro's are Severe Snow Service Rated and have a treadwear of 400. All the other tires rated the same have a 600 or 700 threadwear rating, probably why tirerack have them on special to clear them out of the warehouses I replaced my Goodyears with the VREDESTEIN HITRAC Grand Touring All-Season. They are slightly quieter and have better turn in. So far so good. I got exactly 60k out of the Goodyears, not bad. If I get that much out of these i'll be happy.
  5. I agree with the MAF sensor. caused very similar symptoms on my 05. Unplug it and see what happens? You say its cranking so I think we can safely rule out timing belt.
  6. You have to search for Outbacks.... https://www.google.com/search?q=subaru+legacy+2018+headunit+removal&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS948US948&oq=subaru+legacy+2018+headunit+removal&aqs=chrome..69i57.8709j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#kpvalbx=_oNDuYduCMYW1gge1y7L4DQ12
  7. Nice, im about to wrap mine the same way. The alignment, if you got one, should have centered the steering for you.
  8. When this happened in my EJ25 car it was the MAF sensor. Could be the same here. Unplug it and see if it stays on when started.
  9. If you dont have a code reader go to an autozone or similar and have them read the code for you. That will at least help point us, and more importantly you, in the right direction.
  10. Does this fit?.... https://www.rallitek.com/en/endlinks/10651-rallitek-heavy-duty-front-adjustable-endlinks-outback-legacy-2015-2019.html They also have some rear ones too for the 6th.
  11. Does anyone know the size, thread pitch of the front caliper bolt on a 2016-2018 Legacy 2.5? The one that goes into the slide pin. Thanks!
  12. Yep, but its not just the torque vectoring, there is a bias to the rear brakes in cars over the last 15 years or so for safety reasons, and its only getting more pronounced in newer cars. One of the major advancements in braking came in the early 00's, EBD (electronic brake-force distribution). EBD is also one of the major reasons the rear brakes wear out quicker. I change the rears twice for every one of my fronts on my cars. With EBD in every car, unintentionally introducing brake bias with a different set of pads is a thing of the past, the computer will compensate.
