That inlet isn't going to collapse or rip. It's just a bitch to install because it doesn't have the jog bend on the turbo end.

Yes, I had a bad experience. But what you're doing makes perfect sense. You also got to install the inlet with the manifold off which I'm sure makes all the difference in the world.
