  1. If you look at what I wrote, you will notice I said "cornering"...Obviously the LGT has more power and I absolutely love that about the LGT. What I was getting at is the fact that I take the same on/off ramps every day to enter/exit the highway and I am no where as comfortable taking those turns in the GT as I was in the VR6. The VW is not in the same league as the LGT, that's why I bought the Subie...to trade up! Scientific experiment #1 - I place my coffee travel mug in the cup holder in the VR6 and all is great taking the tight turns on the on ramp...I place the mug in the holder in the LGT(which also fits perfectly) and the coffee spills at the exact same speed. Just an observation. Referring to my original post "I had better potenzas on the VW". I'm thinking this had a lot to do with it. I also noticed something else that I am having trouble with - When I take that corner in the LGT and let off the gas, the back end kicks out. Maybe I should keep my foot on the pedal and just back off a bit...not sure, but the AWD in the GT maybe needs to back off to keep traction on the back wheels? Does this sound plausable? I have no idea what you are talking about regarding the electrical issues. I had none and owned the car for 3 years. I also can't believe that a stock Cobalt would better the time of the VW. Was the Cobalt tuned up? That car has 145hp, the VR6 had 200hp. Anyway, I didn't want to get into a war of words over this, just passing along some observations from a guy who has owned both vehicles. It's possible that I don't have the cornering "down" yet in the LGT. If anyone has any thoughts, I would like to hear them.
  2. Great post...I think number one, I need tires because my VW GTI VR6 would smoke my LGT on any corner because I had better Potenza's on it.
