Yep thats normal. I use it to power my throttle controller and its pretty floppy if I didn't support the connection with the under dash panel..

Yep, I always hold the panel with my other hand when plugging in a scan tool or AP. Mine isn't floppy, but could become so if I didn't support it when plugging in.

I will be heading up to Cobb surgeline in Portland, OR in march to have them use my 12' LGT as a guinea pig to make the 2012 ots maps!
