  1. I officially put my slightly damaged DGM wingless trunk lid up for sale here: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/albany-ny-dgm-wingless-trunk-lid-slightly-damaged-pickup-only-236203.html Located near Albany, NY. No shipping. PM me if interested.
  2. Anyone want this? I just want to get it out of my parent's basement. $75?
  3. Have: DGM wingless trunk (slightly damaged) Want: $ or ? Location: Near Albany, NY (Could possibly meet anywhere within 1 hour of Albany.) Detail: I have a wingless DGM trunk lid minus the plastic trim panel sitting in my parents basement. I purchased it from another member here a couple years ago and it was damaged in shipping. The damage is to both front corners (closest to the back window). Aside from the two front corners, it's in very good shape. I ended up trading in the Legacy shortly after getting the trunk lid and never ended up doing anything with it. If there's any interest let me know and I'll get to my parents and get some detailed pictures.
  4. Thanks! Now I have another thing to add to the want list...
  5. Any idea if there's a rear LSD available for the 2007 2.5i automatic?
  6. I like the Akebono ProACT pads. I was really just looking for something better than stock with low dust... and I've been happy with them so far. I haven't noticed them taking awhile to get up to temp and we've been having some pretty cold weather up here. I got both the Centric rotors and Akebono pads on Tire Rack. The rotors are coated with some sort of black coating. The braking surface does flash rust after sitting for a night coated in salt water. They're going through their first very salty NY winter so I'll report back on how they're holding up in the spring. It did look like the vane end part of the rotor is getting a little rusty but the center hat still looks decent so far.
  7. As far as brake upgrades go: I have Akebono ProACT pads and Centric Rotors and I'm happy with them so far. Brake feel is slightly better than OEM and I haven't had any of the pad deposit/warped rotor issues yet that I had with the stock brakes. They weren't ridiculously expensive, either.
  8. Yeah. I agree. I'm slowly adding some blue underhood bling... but I've heard bad things about silicone radiator hoses on street cars, so I'm going with more traditional rubber ones.
  9. Another member (frostbite3360) said that the 2.5i hoses are the same as "02-06 WRX/STI and Legacy 2.5i/GT 05" in this thread: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2284897 I've had my eyes on these hoses from Gates: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360146964089 I'll probably end up getting them closer to spring...
  10. Haha... and that was DIRTY for my car. Both my girlfriend and mom made comments last week that it was the dirtiest they'd ever seen it.
  11. Spotted: black '08 GT (with HID's?) on Friday at around 7:15PM on Washington Ave. Ext. in Albany headed towards Crossgates Commons. Anyone here?
  12. I spotted a dark blue GT on I-90 east between exits 9 & 10 on Thursday around 4:30PM. Girl driving with two guys in the car and "Goldstein" rear plate frame... Anyone here?
  13. I saw (what was probably) the same car yesterday. It was around exit 5 when I saw it...
  14. Wow... I think someone might have spotted me. I didn't realize there was anyone from the Albany area that posted in this thread. I spotted a metallic grey '08 GT in Garcia's parking lot on Central last Friday. Anyone here? (Most of my Subaru spots up here are older ladies in Outbacks and kids in WRX/STI's.)
