replacing stock lug nuts?

hi all,
simple question can the stock lug bolts be replaced (2009 legacy) with the nice ones from a company like muteki,5zigen etc.?

i just repainted my stock wheels but dislike the stock lug...

i have falcon 451's and 452's on the car and the noise was terrible.
i did buy the tires and wheels used...

i just switched to 18's and the road noise is not...

i just switched to 18's and the road noise is not bad until i brake around 30km that speed makes the brakes sound like they are coming apart.
other than that no vibrations and road noise is not...

the pac unit worked just fine in my Honda but did not work in the Subaru.
they ended up testing the values of each wire to make the unit work.
granted this should have been done in the first place...

aluminum lug nuts

i was going to buy a set of aluminum lug nuts but they all recomend for race applications.
i have done some searches and most seem to use them for just that.
does anybody run them on a dailey...
