Sounds like there might be aftermarket injectors still in it. Sometimes they do that and need to be tuned during the start up cycle. I had a stage 2 with injectors that did the same thing.

Where exactly do you live? I live in the Stevens Point area. I did mine a few years ago when I had my GT. It's not too hard. I used some dental floss to drop and hold the washer into place.

Perrin makes an adapter. It shortens the shifts, but not really the overall length. I had one and I liked it a lot. Ran it with the OEM bushings and later the Perrin ones.

I wonder if your wastegate spring is broken or not actuating like it should. That is the reason why you have no power. Can you move the flap easily or the wastgate arm?
