  1. Just an FYI for anyone in the future who has better google skills. I obviously did like everyone and bought a refurbished/junk yard/new A/C compressor and only used the clutch. The clutch has its own part number and after doing an ebay search found some possible units. Part number: PA 66-GF 25K See attached pic.
  2. Agreed, comment about the engine cover is a little silly. Thanks for the info.
  3. Things I would change about the Perrin TMIC I have. 1. Have the fins align with the rest of the car. This is simply a fit and finish problem that gets me everytime i open the hood. The rest of the parts under the car are nice and straight but the fins and the TMIC are off by a couple of degrees which bugs the heck out of me. 2. Please utilize an OEM style hot side gasket. The Perrin style gasket doesn't give you much trust. 3. New Air or utilize OEM splitter too fit the bigger TMIC. Again fit and finish 4. Retain the Engine cover with minor/no modification. 5. Turbo flange bolt holes should be slightly oversized or slotted to allow proper fitment. If most of these things are met in the TMIC i think my perrin will hit the For Sale market soon. Keep up the great work guys.
  4. I just noticed that a local guy has a 2011 sti drivetrain hes parting out. tranny, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, rear diff, drive shafts, axles, shifter linkage... Everything. Would recipe B be the most likely fit for this?
  5. Anyone know of a set for sale? Looking for a second set. haha
  6. So i read the entire post and i still cant decide which would be best for road noise and to really quiet the aftermarket exhaust within the cabin. If anyone has attacked at canceling the cabin noise from the aftermarket exhaust please help. thanks in advance.
  7. Ill post better pics another time. Heres one. I still didnt install front lip and other little exterior goodies.
  8. Thats the finish im looking for.
  9. I dont think i want to go that glossy. Looks good tho. Im thinking something a little less like a semi gloss. Almost the same shine as the stock paint.
  10. If your still looking for some I got a 3 for sale.
  11. Debating what color I should powdercoat my bbs. The car is satin white and im leaning towards a black, graphite, semi gloss black. Something like that. Any picks would be greatly helpful
