  1. I have an outback I was thinking of doing this to. I want to bring the dark metallic gray up to the windows. Anyone got more photos of wraps like this?
  2. My LED lights kept burning out so I used a new style that are not as flexible. Let me know what you think. I got to say the photos do not do justice though. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/gershon23/iphonepics022.jpg http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/gershon23/iphonepics021.jpg
  3. E-Tank, I was the first to suck it up and throw in some LED lite strings into my headlights. Check out page 39. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/gershon23/CIMG2389.jpg
  4. I wanna see something new and different. All of these pics are the same old thing.
  5. There are hundreds of photos showing the same mod! Someones gotta do something new and different...
  6. I found tape like the 3M but it is clear. It seems to hold them in just fine. I just put an inch strip every inch.
  7. Here is another variation for you. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/gershon23/IMG_0969.jpg
  8. No objections here. If you promise to try your idea out. I thought of that as well. My thought was to put some yellow film around it in the portion that was under the clear light bar and eliminating the yellow parking light and just having a yellow single filament turn signal.
  9. Ok! Here are a few more photo's. They are not to good "taken with iPhone" and I could not seem to get a shot without the glare. I am not going to lie but I did try to touch them up with photoshop. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/gershon23/sub-front-led-on1.jpg http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/gershon23/sub-front-led-on2.jpg http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/gershon23/to-the-side-led-on1.jpg I can say if I could go back and do it again I would definitely cut the strip shorter so the LED's would not round off at the top or maybe so they stop at the light bar in the middle.
  10. And I do need to add a switch. I would like to use these as DTRL. Just for now they are connected to the parking lights. An odd side effect is that when I use my blinker the LED's will flash as well. Not on and off at the same time as the blinkers but exactally the oppisate. So when the yellow blinker blinks on the LED's will turn off and when the yellow turns off the LED's turn on. It looks kinda cool but definataly crosses the line of riced out.
  11. Thanks man. I kinda wish I cut the 6 led's at the top rather than loop it but its a done deal now. 48 LED's and 48cm long.
  12. I decided to take on the project but while I had the lights apart I wanted to add a little something. Anyone like the look of the new Audi A4 lights? Well I really do! I found LED strips on eBay for $12 each including shipping. So I bought some to add into the headlights. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/gershon23/IMG_0885.jpg http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/gershon23/IMG_0887.jpg http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/gershon23/IMG_0890.jpg I plan to add a switch for them but for now I have them hooked up to my parking lights.
  13. Well if you look at the first post you will see the that this whole string is a FS posting wouldn't you agree? So if that is the case then I guess this whole string should be in the classified section.
  14. I think this is the best solution. Find a 2007/08 head unit on ebay or from a junk yard and have a real aux in with an actual switch to turn it off and on. here is what the 07/08 looks like. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/gershon23/IMG_0756.jpg
