They replaced the stalk switch with a new from factory, and that didn't correct the problem. You suggest that the next step to take would be replace the wiring harness?

Apparently the parking lights do not come on (just found this out) at the front or rear..at the steering wheel switch either
All lights will come on...

As long as you are careful when parking you should be fine... unless your car is really really low... then you might have an issue. Most smaller curbs are fine, but the big ones will get ya.
