Some more info on this...

The sound only comes on between 2000-3000 RPM and can be better heard when cold
I was able to finally reproduce the sound today when not driving and just idling by...

It has about 89K KM on it, (not miles).

I am about to change rear diff oil this week and a friend has some Motul 90PA fluid that he never used for his STi. Would it work in my rear diff?
