P0607 is an issue with the electronic throttle control. There's a Subaru reflash for 2006 models which fixes a P0607 problem, but it's not applicable to 2005 models.

Every 2005+ Legacy has a built-in trouble code reader that displays powertrain and chassis DTCs on your trip meter. Those Subaru engineers are pretty clever.
