  1. crossfire is pretty cool. like a Mercedes with a stick and Chrysler badges
  2. MK4 R32 is what i was goin to say. the VR6 is such an incredible motor.
  3. First truck for me too, I've told myself I'll wait at least a year till i tune it, it'd be great if banks came up with something for it but there are already a bunch of options, currently looking at the duramaxtuner setup with the dial since i do tow with it and don't want it on full kill all the time but need the option, plus it's just fun to have another thing to play with. can't believe its supposed to get even better gas mileage after a tune, i already get 30 pretty easily on country highways. first owner ditched the front air damn on mine so its not quite that at 65+. congrats on the new truck
  4. lost an LGT brother but gained a LWN one. is that the AT4 version? i just have a Z71 colorado but i absolutely love it. its surprisingly capable offroad too even without the locking diffs, and the thing tows like an absolute dream.... what kind of extra parts you got?
  5. the crosstrek is fun as long as you don't have much grip or an autobox. my friend has a stick one and is obviously not so fast but it may be more fun than my LGT in a nice snowy lot.
  6. I love the Idea of them but their weight is crazy and I'm just not a luxury car guy. they could easily drop 500 lbs and make the thing a toyota and me and nobody else would be all over it. never drove one though I'm sure they are a hoot, that 2UR is sick.
  7. speak for yourself, there are so many cars on the market with higher power to weight ratios than .09. mustang GT is .12, GT350 .14, supra .11, even the LC500 is .10
  8. Can't believe i finally get to post in joe's thread. many thanks for the years of dedication and shared knowledge on our underserved platform... and don't worry i will eventually put that intercooler to good use.
  9. mines only seen 7 winters, the top of every mountain rd in VT, and has been taken out every time it snows since the beginning of its life. it may be rusty as all get out but a better snow slayer there is not. hopefully it'll fail an inspection before its too far gone to become an actual racecar but i don't see it slowing down anytime soon. a clutch, timing belt, head gaskets, ARP studs, koni shocks and some more goodies are to come this spring before i start chasing some actual power, we'll see just how stuck those engine mount bolts are soon enough...
  10. ****, its pretty close to my dads house too. is the color accurate at charcoal? or is actually DIP? it looks blue.
  11. Joe we need answers over here so we can start asking what you have on your parts shelf
  12. damn i wish i had somewhere to put it because $425 is a deal even if I'm just using it to get a turbo to have rebuilt and a bunch of parts that are probably way less rusty than mine.
