  1. Ok I have searched for a few weeks to no avail. I traded a car for this 2007 Subaru Legacy 2.5 , went to it not knowing what was wrong she had the starter replaced and ignition and still wouldn’t stay on. Now by won’t stay on I mean. You put key in first turn gave no electricity no lights no acc You turn the key to start and she starts and all electrics come on. As soon as you release key when engine is on the car shuts back off. With my test light probe I have tested the green wire that comes out of the back of ignition switch. It has no power. When I give it power the car has power on first key turn and will stay on after I crank as long as I’m still juicing that wire. Now I’ve checked the under dash fuse box every fuse that says ignition has no power going to it. I checked the box I probed the wires behind the box and no power. Subsequently When I juice either of those fuses just one. I get power at first turn of the key and she will stay on when cranked so as long as the wire is juiced with power. I stop juicing it and nothing. So I am not getting power to anything ignition related on the in car side. All fuses are good I’ve swapped around relays and all. I’ve switched ignition switches and nothing either. I followed the green wire to a box under the dash which I believe may have been a computer of some sort or maybe imobilizer and the green cable that plugs to that box I probe it and no power I juice it and I get powereverywhere with first turn of key. Juice (apply 12v) through the powered volt meter I am stumped for now I have a jumper wire from yellow to green behind the ignition switch so I can drive and such, if I jump constant power to the green it gets acc power and stays o after you let go of key. but I need to know where else I can test for issues, how can there be no power to just that one wire idkkk I’m so confused I’ve checked everything looked at some diagrams I just don’t get it.
