I almost fell of my lounge chair on the side of the Caribbean Sea just now. Reading this to David, he said, ‘I trust John to drive my car.’ I shit you not. Though then he said ‘as long as he keeps it under 70’. LOL (I just asked how many miles on it - 200. Sigh. We have some work to do before this trip)

I have some pizza stuff to add to the WRX stash as well, and can make dough ahead of time and freeze and bring. Easy peasy. I can also bring a bunch of hummus/tzaziki/crazy feta, stuff from CAVA (where David works). I can also make bread when we get there. Ya’ll know I love to cook! Salads - I have a few great recipes (as do we all, I am sure!) - quinoa zucchini, a radish salad, tomato/mozz, we can have some fun and keep it super simple. A simple BBQ menu is great too - burgers, brats, etc. I’ll be sure @boxkita’s car stuff doesn’t eliminate room for a cooler for the trip up. I’ll do some searching for farm stands and groceries as the time gets closer. Can’t wait!

I’m always game for cooking/ helping to cook. We do homemade piazzas often- that’s a great idea, maybe even for a couple of nights for those staying a bit longer?

As long as we can haul kayaks, I have the green light to take the new WRX for the trip. @boxkita can we cram all our crap in there? CB may even brew us a batch of home brew to bring along!

I’m good with any bedroom and a shared bath as long as ya’ll aren’t slobs.

Maybe we get roof racks and haul a couple kayaks or SUPs up….

As long as there is room for my beauty equipment…. LOL NOT. I’ll drive too. I don’t suck as a driver.

So, it seems David may not join us, which makes me hauling the camper, stupid. Is there a room at the inn for me? I’m not as picky about a room as BoxKitty… Plus, I may have to pick up that a$$hole BoxKitty at the airport (I’ll make him drive - maybe cute David will let us take the new WRX) and make him drive up. Side note, the disaster at the bridge here yesterday is devastating. In a pathetic note of good news, David’s WRX made it to port a day or two before the disaster. We have a VIN, and a delivery date, so we should pick it up this weekend.

It’s on order. Apparently an accident at the factory has delayed delivery and it is now expected end April. Don’t think we’ll be towing the camper with that…

Is anyone else driving from or through the DC/Balt area and only for a shorter weekend? Trying to decide days to participate. I can stay longer cause I can work from anywhere. David, not so much. If he can hitch a ride up for a shorter time, may work out better.

I’d like to learn more about this… Have freezer would like to buy 1/2 pig and 1/2 cow, I think…

We are happy to pay $66 a day too. With our camper. We’ll share the full bath on the main floor. Unsure of our dates, but I’ll likely come up midweek and David will just join for the weekend. You collecting $$ @m sprank?
