These are the best pads I've had on my Legacy. They do dust a bit, but the increase in feel and performance is well worth a little dust on the wheels.

For about $200 get the Subaru leather wheel, I put one in our 09 2.5i. It's an easy install and is a big improvement. Part #34311ag25ajc has cruise control only.

I've had these on my wagon for about 15,000 miles, great daily driver pads.
Better bite and feel than the stock set, no noise or dust.

As a daily driver pad they work well. I have them on my 05 GT and they have a firmer pedal feel than the stock pads and offer a little more bite.
