  1. Levorg 2 is not coming here, again. Thx SoA Mr Doll and associates. Slightly beefed up and modified FA24DIT (most often mated to 3rd gen HTCVT) and e-boxer soft hybrid flavors. Of course WRX gets the det00ned mapping, STi the just shy of spun bearing t00n. Styling does even less for me, than current gen Legacy/Outback/Forester. It's as if a current gen WRX/STi interbred with a Civic Type R or Camccord. Will still sell like hot cakes to kids (extra funding for pops-n-bangs timing retard t00ns, muffler/cat deletes and air-bag suspensions).
  2. Nah, it would be listed as latest last in there, or in the previous 2019 compilations. No sign of these anywhere in those.
  3. April 2020 reprogramming list is out, includes some ECM reflashes for Ascents, not much new in the TCU dept, bunch of aux system reflashes across the fleet, nothing more. https://techinfo.subaru.com/stis/doc/otherMisc/Reprogramming%20J-2534_April2020.pdf#search=j2534
  4. Not sure where you guys are getting the info about BtSsm not working with OBDLink devices. Its a mystery. I was the original tester and power user back in 2014/2015, who worked with BtSsm developer on all new features and beta testing, helped add TCU support and experimental CAN support, etc. The software most certainly supports OBDLink LX and MX series devices (no longer remember which revisions and up and which firmware and up). Worked flawlessly in Kline and CAN mode on my 2010 and still works on a 2015-2019 WRX in CAN mode today. Android 5/6/9/10, maybe others too, didnt use so cant confirm/deny. Best solution for older Subarus is Tactrix OPv2 + wired USB OTG to phone and BtSsm protocol/connectivity option to reflect the same, but if you need wireless, OBDLink LX/MX should be fine. Active dev of BtSsm stopped a few years ago as the app was and is feature complete for older gen Subarus. Newer ones have moved away from SSM and to E-OBDII rendering the app useless for those.
  5. Forget FreeSsM. Go BtSsm: https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/btssm-bluetooth-adapter-app-v-2-267811.html Wired, wireless, K-line, CAN bus, pick your pison.
  6. Jan 2020 reprogramming packs are out: https://techinfo.subaru.com/stis/doc/otherMisc/Reprogramming%20J-2534_January2020.pdf#search=J2534 And as expected, the Oct-2018 ECU reflash for the Ascent is listed. No TCM reflash listed though.... odd. ECM 2019 ASCENT 2.4L Turbo CVT (FED, CAL) PAK 22765AL732 Addresses: P0045 and P2196 (Release: October 2018) Only noticed some recent current-gen Forester CVT TCU reflashes. All others are earlier 2018 Mode $04 correcting reflashed. Boring.
  7. You might find this useful: https://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4989095&postcount=14760
  8. Good info. Subaru's next list of re-progamming PAKs will likely include this. The current/latest (Oct-2019) as of this writing only has Oct-2019 ECM reflashes for the Ascent that do NOT yet mention anything related to the HTCVT, ECM/TCM interaction. Makes sense. https://techinfo.subaru.com/stis/doc/otherMisc/Reprogramming%20J-2534_October_2019.pdf Interestingly, there are a bunch of VDC reflashes available for older HTCVT WRXs (dated Apr-2019) listed. DTC C1531, DTC C1741 related. Nothing for those cars or the HTCVT Legacy/Outbacks since their old ECM/TCM reflashes years ago.
  9. This project reminds me of what I did to mine back in Mar-2012. Ah, the memories.... The taping was indeed a work of art. And we ended up using a special tape because the chrome layer is extremely fragile (can peel and rub through easily) plus clean paint cutoff lines are extremely difficult to achieve. https://www.lightwerkz.net/photo/makemodel/subaru/legacy/10-legacy/
  10. Limited audience for this old box since its EoL as of Nov-2018, Jan-2019: https://www.cobbtuning.com/v2-accessport-official-end-of-life/
  11. That is in fact the stock look for non USDM pre (not shown and post facelift (in this case) headlights.
  12. Saris bones should work given the way it mounts on a Legacy. I have one up in the classifieds for cheap if you're interested.
  13. Good list. You must've missed this though if you think there is not much info on the 3.6R. Almost all applies to 4th/5th/6th gens fitted with EZ36Ds or EZ30Rs, EZ30Ds: https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/official-3-6r-mod-list-219254.html
  14. Most of them do (the little cylindrical passive meh cooler) and a few JDM/non-USDM models (S4s, tSs, etc) also have a secondary more proper cooler - same exact part as that installed on the Ascents as an engine oil cooler.
