  1. There are two fuse boxes, the one to the left of the steering wheel and the one under the hood. The covers have labels for what each fuse is, you should look for the "dome light" fuse. If you don't have something to test it, just pull it out and see if the connection is blown.
  2. First thing should be to check the fuses and hope that one is blown.

  5. Don't know if this is a repost................. BULB FINDER: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/
  6. Ooohh, I see it now.....Bad a$$ dude. Yeah, that is basically what we are going for. Very nice work. What did you use to construct the baffling that seperates the two chambers? (I was thinking about insulating some ABS, thoughts?)
  7. I'm sure I have enough supplies left over to make you one. It would have to wait a while though, I'm preparing to defend my ChE Thesis and free time is a scarce commodity these days. We could do it sooner with just the OIC, but the heat sheild will need development hours that I just don't have right now. If you (or anyone else) is interested, let me know and we'll work something out. .
  8. Dude, AWESOME!!!! I've never been there, but my brother has and I'm planning on going there real soon. You just can't beat that scenery.
  9. Dude..........Awesome!!!! Thanks for laying it down in a such a comprehensive way. Kudos. We need more stuff like this and I agree with turntable, a sticky with reference threads would be great. importtund, what we're kindof getting at would be that there would be one for this forum (older leggy performace) and another for the newer ones (maybe in the first Legacy forum). There would then be a place to consolidate the beautiful work you have done here along with say wiring lists, CEL codes, etc. If anything this deserves a sticky of its own at least. Again, EXCELLENT work!!!!
  10. Nice job. If you check about half way down the walkthrough, you'll see pictures of the snorkel in place (which is how the setup actually is, the final pics were just to show the comparison to the Blitz pics). We are planning a "1/2 duct" that goes from the snorkel to the cover, but only on the engine (right) side and top. This would get us air from the factory snorkel and the "smuggler's bin" area, while isolating from the majority of the engine compartment (we're also trying not to alter factory parts). Something similar to what you have done but actually connecting the snorkel to the baffling you made. Questions: You have the modified snorkel but it appears that the CIA is sealed to the "smuggler's bin" and the snorkel isn't contributing to the air flow into the filter, is this to cool the piping? What was the material of construction for your baffling?
  11. ^^^Stick a potato in it? The only adverse effect I could assume would be that the diminished back pressure would register at the ECU. But that wouldn't void your PT warranty. Take the 10 mins to "back to stock" it before going to the dealer, they often have the politics of a modern day government. Better safe than sorry.
  12. ^^^Thanks. We are considering some kind of duct-type work that would bring air in from the "drug smuggling" area below the filter (where the CIAs go). A heat shield would be included (just gotta find the time). BTW I love your screen name and avatar.................."Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." One of the best movies of all time!!!
  13. Thanks . Not sure but, I believe the Blitz goes for about $125-$150 minimum. The filter is an AVO (I think, made it for my brother's car so I'm not 100%)
