  1. Really like the swift/bilstein set on my 05. Rides really nicely. As for the sag, just use a cheap spacer or get the wagon springs.
  2. Sounds stupid to say sometimes....but, if one of the important parts of your car is in questionable order (mileage, possible sketchy condition), replace it. Had mine done by jmp and couldn't be happier with his help. Getting the tgv delete requires a tune, so why not new turbo/up pipe/tune then lots of smiles afterwards?
  3. $4k? You could put in a re manufactured engine for that much
  4. Wow..just had my dash and bag replaced 2 years ago. And finally got all the switches plugged back in they missed, plus stop it rattling like a baby toy after they did it. Fml..... Don't have my paperwork anymore after I moved last year. Tempted to get in there and check the part number on it
  5. If those hoses are that brittle and still on the car, that tells me it doesn't have any proactive maintenance done for its long term. Best thing I did when I got mine was purchased the intake manifold gaskets and injector orings. And a few feet of high pressure fuel hose. Remove the entire manifold. It's easier than it looks man. Replace all the rubber lines you see. Inspect and replace the turbo inlet. Good time to check the turbo for any shafts play also..... There's plentiful amounts of information on here regarding first time owner check lists. Feel free to pm me for any questions
  6. Bravo on the miles with original turbo sir...
  7. Pm'ing on the steering wheel center bag and cover, and transmission
  8. For the reason to lower your car (I'm assuming) is for the looks/style? Don't end up like so many other people who went cheap as possible to only popping the oem replacement struts and end up spending more later. I am really happy with the bilstein struts in combo with the swift springs on my sedan. Like the others have said, using the correct application will get you more enjoyment out of the ride. Not to mention also the safety
  9. I've gotten a better reading off the dipstick before I drive it for the day. Any signs of it at least in the middle of the add/full marks I tend to top it off
  10. I'm looking for a set of complete heads for a build.....and where the hell were you when I found a set of new spec b rockers and paid twice what you're asking? Lmao....always happens let me know about the heads please
  11. If the money is available for an IAG block, start there. ELH for the extra flow. And a decent turbo to support the power goals. Blouch comes to mind here, or contact our well known forum member jmp to see what he has available. Last but not the least......a good tune.......can't stress that enough
  12. With the lower bushings in the whole thing is about a half inch too high for the upper mounts to even touch the bolting points. Go figure.
  13. Yeah its seated in the bushings all the way. Mmradsti08. I purchased this one because every review was the same as others at the time. It's been in the garage for the last few years waiting for me to install.... I'll just cut the bushings or like I mentioned put some rubber padding in their place.
  14. I've searched for this before anyone says to do so. Besides the usual "trim the radiator hoses" solution, my issue is different. It seems that the radiator is just a little bit taller? It's sits higher than the oem and I'm using the original lower bushings by at least a half inch. All things considered I'm going to use a thin rubber material in its place to bring it down. Too late to turn back and my oem radiator is now a target in the back yard lol.... Anybody else have this happen? Everywhere I looked this is a direct fit part, and all photo images I see it sits flush. If not, at least it will come up in a search for anyone else who is going this route to be aware of.
  15. I work at the same hole you do. They worked fine for me on my bilstein struts. I say go for it
