Won't help with peak power at all but boost tuning is a little easier and you can get finer resolution and a better transient boost response and maybe a tad quicker spool. Worth the $ in my opinion...

There is no way without removing the intake manifold. I can pull a manifold in about 1 hour. Takes a good 2-2.5 to put it back on.
