At our dealership, the Subaru rep said "yank it out if people come in with failure or any other defects"....Unofficial Recall, I think so. Mine went through two turbos as well

I literally did the same thing blew the turbo in april got my bnr turbo in last monday friday night blew the engine....im not sure why it blew either but i feel for you man my block wasnt covered...
