How much? They were standard on even a base model Impreza starting in '06 (in North America). It makes sense on an economy car <$15K, but not on a car that's $25-30K or more.

I know, but my point was that even on the turbo engines the intake isn't a restriction. The same holds true for the NA engines.

If you want more power, trade it in for a GT/XT or 3.0/3.6R.

The 05-09 turbo models don't benefit from a CAI or aftermarket intake unless you install a larger turbo and get a tune. Otherwise you'll run lean.
