  1. I have a 1998 Subaru Liberty GX with an EJ22 that I have since supercharged. I have fit an SC14 supercharger from an old Toyota Supra, it utilizes a clutched pulley which can be activated or deactivated to control when I want to boost. I tend to leave it off on start up and until my engine is at operating temperature. I have also made a water injection system to attempt to reduce the Pinging on higher loads by slowing down the burning process in the combustion chamber, however I wasn't able to reduce it enough to be satisfied. I have since installed ignition control systems in order to advance or retard my timing, this of course has removed any trace of pinging.

    I am always searching for better Maps, so feel free to message with any advice or maps that I can view to suit my little ej22!
