  1. Running is great, but even sitting there that thing is teh sex. Have you considered parking it in your living room? Yikes MonkeyPoseur, Glad to hear it ended up being a clearcut fix! WRXish, what happened? I'm so out of the loop these days. The only deal with dip is you'll need to be concerned about rust if you have any bare metal areas. As far as me, I picked up a '92 SS with a 5-speed last weekend (bucket list item: road trip to pick up a car and drive back? check!). Today I replaced the 25 year old radiator that had to cracks in the pass side tank. Made it 600 miles without rupturing, wow. Oil change, GR-era WRX shift knob, LED headlamp bulbs. The company I work for now fabricates stuff for Toyota pickups, talked to the CEO (I'm a marketing director) about me fabbing some stuff for my car. He's all about it, and if anyone is interested I may have some parts to offer in about a month. Looking to do a proper "coffee cup" mod and fender braces. Maybe more depending on how it goes. Braces will be simple CNCed probably aluminum. Resonator mod will be tumbled and polished stainless tubing with hose nipples installed. Can't wait to do that stuff and weld up some exhaust. And wheels, I want some early WRX 16's or some 08-10 WRX 17's. Need a little more room to fit the brakes I've got sitting in boxes waiting to be installed!
  2. Um... Okay. I guess I don't drive my own car, or check my mileage every tank full... Nor do I have a infrared thermometer that showed a 30-40 degree drop in intake temps. That def wouldn't have an effect on oxygen density. It must be underpants gnomes that have me that mileage increase. Hey maybe that's what step 2 is...
  3. After doing SeeeYa's, I have smoother idle and slightly better mpg. I'll prob do it every few months, can't hurt! Also installed Grimspeed phenolic spacers which made a HUGE difference in mileage and intake temps.
  4. Just did SeeeeeYa's for the first time today, picked up the stuff on Saturday. Haven't driven enough to report back yet, but will when the tank is through. I was having grumpy starts and intermittent rough idle. Not so rough that I was alarmed, just knew that it wasn't perfect. Car has about 196k? Bought it used last summer. On a side I used to use 44K on my first gen Leggy, that was good stuff and saw very real results. But I've lost my hook-up so the price doesn't seem so worth it now lol!
