the outbacks use taller struts, but they will also bolt on to the other cars i just mentioned with no issues, giving you a ''lift''....

almost all of those leaks can be corrected in a weekend with $60 worth of seals and gaskets. add all new timing belt parts for about $250 and you will be set to drive 100k trouble free miles.
