  1. Not that it really matters all that much but I felt compelled to post a response regarding the two prior posts above. Apparently there are some that just don't like DRL's in general however, the main reason for this thread and for this mod is to allow proper burn in and bulb life expectancy to be prolonged for those looking to add Xenon headlights.
  2. Lol I linked the wrong one, I love being exhausted Thanks for the info guys, I was looking at it as a why not kind of thing and was going with the 8mm to make it worth my while. I didn't think about clearance issues though so I'll check that if I follow through.
  3. Dave, I've got an intake gasket that's leaking so since I'll be in there already, what are your thoughts on this http://www.subimods.com/grimmspeed-phenolic-thermal-spacer-8mm-n-a-models-1998-2-5rs-1996-1999-legacy-by-grimmspeed-for-83-99.html
  4. Not sure if I'll be able to make it due to work and having to pick up my daughter but I'll see what I can do, no guarantees for this one though.
  5. Definitely, just has to be the right weekend.
  6. That's what I was looking for, thanks Dave!
  7. Really sorry to take your thread off topic Dave. The dp is 3" and my exhaust is 3" so I don't need an adapter and don't have a donut gasket, just a regular metal gasket. Obviously the dp is bolted to the support bracket to eliminate as much movement as possible but should I use the spring bolts to help compensate for some of movement or will just regular bolts work? I've heard different answers, yes you do to prevent cracking, no you don't as long as everything's secured... This may be a lost cause, lol but I wanted to check with Dave originally and now in-turn anyone else that has knowledge and experience with exhausts.
  8. I have a CNT catted dp and am going to install a GrimmSpeed 22x metal gasket. I reused a crappy gasket when I installed the new one-piece and now have a leak and I sold the spring bolts with the stock exhaust so I would need to buy them if needed. I don't want to run the risk of damaging anything and figured since OEM is a one-piece and comes with them it might be important to find out.
  9. Spamming this question around here Dave in hopes someone knows lol. I now have a full one piece exhaust from the cat back to the mufflers so should I to use those spring bolts like the factory does to allow some movement or should I just stick with regular bolts.
  10. Sent you a text Dave but not sure it went through so check your PMs
  11. So it's been 2 days now since my Stage 2 Cryotune and I still have yet to wipe the retarded grin off my face every time I drive my car. I'll start off by saying just how great of a guy Dave is. Not only is he passionate about what he does but he actually and legitimately cares about you, your car and getting everything done right the first time. For everyone who isn't local, it sucks that you don't get to spend some in-car time with him but a meticulous e-tune from him will be the next best thing. Before even setting up his computer Dave started out by checking everything under the hood, just to make sure nothing was loose and lo and behold, he did indeed find a major issue. My intake hose coming off the intercooler had not been properly reattached from being in the shop a week prior. The guys at the shop didn't double check and I didn't think to check (was too caught up with my new exhaust) but Dave saved the day before it had even started! After we got on the road we had some software issues thanks to Windows and some faulty drivers (caused by a new cable) but Dave was patient and incredibly thorough to make sure that everything was done correctly and without problems. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and what it all meant and thank God he knows this stuff in and out because it gave me a headache just looking at it! Driving before untuned and driving now is a complete night and day difference. Idle is steady and smooth. Power delivery is strong, consistent and practically instant and feels like it could've just rolled straight out the factory (honestly the way it should've rolled out the factory if you ask me.) Anyway, I cannot say enough good things about this guy. If you have any hesitations about his e-tunes, don't. After spending damn near 5 hours in the car with him, I have absolutely no doubts in my mind about his knowledge and abilities and would not hesitate to hand my keys over to him at any time. Thanks Dave, keep up the amazing work and don't ever move because I'll eventually need you again!!! I'm Ryan and I've officially been http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u221/blueeclipse96/IMAG0782.jpg?t=1349221386
  12. I was just screwing around for a sec in paint, didn't even scroll through half of the fonts but thought these were a step in a better direction
