I had mine ceramic coated and I have no complaints. It definately cooled the engine bay temps down significantly.
2000 degree black on the cast portion and the cat...1200 degree silver on the lower...

I have had the same issues with knock on my Cobb Stage 2 tune.
I regularly see -4.0 to -4.8 knock at 2000 to 2500 rpm range mostly in 3rd gear, but I have gotten knock readings on...

Drove it from Omaha to San Antonio and then back to Omaha about a month...
